The November Family Service was a beauty!
In addition to our regular special items from the Karen Choir and Kids' Church, we were joined by Mark Purser (BWA Vic/Tas), and Levi McGrath for a rich demonstration of our unity and diversity. We also witnessed the baptism of Chinese UTAS student Ming, who gave a wonderful run-down of his faith journey to this point. All this was followed by a Fellowship Lunch, when the Meet & Make Choir performed.

Social justice musician, Levi McGrath, is coming to Hobart for another awesome performance! Fresh from touring Europe earlier this year, we are privileged to experience Levi's meaningful, passionate style once again!

Our unity and diversity were well-displayed on Sanctuary Sunday, as many of our various congregations got together for the morning (and for lunch!)
Stephen dedicated several Anuak children, and we heard from the Combined Choir - unified singers from the 10am Service, Church with no Walls, Karen, Fillipino, Chinese and Anuak communities. Pictured below is the dedication.
Sanctuary Sunday is an opportunity for all who make up Hobart Baptist Church to gather and celebrate God’s goodness, and our diversity.Hobart Baptist Church is made up of several congregations, communities of faith, and groups (such as Meet & Make and Boys’ Brigade), and few of us see the full breadth and depth of the whole church. We want you to be a part of this special coming together.
Sanctuary Sunday will give us a glimpse of who we are when we are all together in one place, at one time.
