Sunday February 4 was a momentous day as we farewelled Youth and Young Adults' Pastor Nathan Lattimore and his wife, Connecter Editor, Kaya. They will be very missed! Our love and prayers will follow them as they make the big move to Canberra Baptist this week, and in the months ahead.

January at HBC

While things are fairly quiet during January, there are still a few things going on behind the scenes, and all our usual services continue.

However, here are a few areas to note, just for January:

• There will be no Family Service - the next Family Service and Fellowship Lunch will be held on Sunday February 11
• The Connecter, our usual weekly bulletin, has only one short January edition
• All small groups are in recess.
• Kids' Church takes a break over the holidays.
  Parents are welcome to take children to the Creche, but they will need to supervise them as there is no program.
• The Church Office is closed for January.

The November Family Service was a beauty!In addition to our regular special items from the Karen Choir and Kids' Church, we were joined by Mark Purser (BWA Vic/Tas), and Levi McGrath for a rich demonstration of our unity and diversity. We also witnessed the baptism of Chinese UTAS student Ming, who gave a wonderful run-down of his faith journey to this point. All this was followed by a Fellowship Lunch, when the Meet & Make Choir performed.

Yep - it was a beauty!

Our final Family Service for the year is on Sunday December 10. Hope you can make it.
